Filming, Film Crews and Payments
Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,
As far back as records allow, archived or otherwise please could you provide the following;
1. Please provide listings in date order (including reference codes etc) of all filming productions/photo shoots or any media productions that have been done in the borough for which the council has received payments. This should include areas, estates, roads etc that have been used in production of the filming. It should also include descriptions received for each filming, name of production, production company etc. (if there is a form of case file or other file for each one please provide copies of these also)
2. Please provide listings/amounts for payments (including cheques numbers etc) for each of the above listings. Please show detailed amounts of any individual payments within each production, ie; release of parking restriction payments, full amounts etc.
3. Please list also in each listing above (1), the payments made to individual community organisations, RSL's, partners, charities etc that were received and payed out for each of the productions listed in (1) above. This should also include payments to any other organisations Tower Hamlets Homes, PCT, educational establishments etc, that have been negotiated as part of each production.
4. Please provide in each instance of a production the percentage that the private company "The Film Office" http://www.filmoffice.co.uk/ recieve as part of the deals. If this is a budgeted yearly (or otherwise) service please provide details of payments to this company in as small a date format as possible (ie, years, months or days)

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - IGT_FOI_02_4013 - Filming, Film Crews and
Payments
The Council has decided that your request for information will not be
processed on grounds of cost.
It is estimated that the cost of locating and retrieving the information
requested calculated according to the government's Freedom of Information
(Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004 would cost approximately
£ 875 (35 hours) which is in excess of the upper limit of £450
set in the Regulations
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 this letter acts as
a Refusal Notice.
You may wish to refine and resubmit your request so that it reduces the
cost to below this upper limit
