The Council holds its public meetings at a variety of times, including
evenings, in order to promote public engagement and utilises social media
to raise awareness of its meetings.  We allow public speaking at Planning
Committee meetings and for presentation of petitions.  Members of the
public are also able to ask questions at full Council and Scrutiny
meetings.

 

How are the recordings of council meetings made available to the public?

 

We do not film Council meetings at all.

 

How long after the meeting are recordings available?

Officers have looked into this, but decided not to pursue.

I can confirm that North East Lincolnshire Council do not hold any
recorded information in respect of this matter.  I can confirm that
various meetings/telephone conversations took place to gather outline
costs but, due to budget constraints and other priorities, nothing was
pursued.
