Figures for Nominal Records on Police National Computer

The request was successful.

Dear Home Office,

According to the NPIA annual report below, there were 9.2 million nominal records on the Police National Computer (PNC) in 2009.
http://www.npia.police.uk/en/docs/Busine...

As the NPIA has now been disbanded and its functions transferred to the Home Office, I would be grateful if you could provide up to date figures on how may Nominal (Criminal) Records are currently on the PNC?

If possible, please could you provide figures that are accurate up to the date of replying to this request?

Yours faithfully,

Dominic Headley
