Dear Ms Bunn,

Thank you for your request for information, which was received by this authority on July 10th. Please see answers below;

2. Please provide figures for the number of complaints about dog mess received by Daventry District Council so far in 2015?
A - Dependant on date group other figures were provided, 01/04/2015 - 07/08/2015 = 37 (Financial Year) or 01/01/2015 - 07/08/2015 = 68 (Calendar Year)

3. Your information on littering and graffiti is held by an external agency, you say. Without giving me the name of that external agency, can you please confirm whether or not the same agency holds the information about complaints about dog mess; or whether it is held at the council offices?
A - Kim Maynard referred the request to Amey concerning Littering and Graffiti. As Littering and Graffiti is removed by our Contractor, Amey they will have the stats on this. The complaints about Dog Fouling is dealt with by Environmental Health at the Council offices so we hold this information and its already been provided.

4. If this information is held at the council offices, can you please tell me why it is treated differently to information about littering and graffiti?
A - As Littering and Graffiti is removed from the district by our Contractor, Amey they will have the stats on this. As the Officers who deal with dog fouling complaints have always been based within the Council's Environmental Health Department, that is why we have the stats for this information.

5. Please provide copies of the Minutes of all meetings relevant to the decision to consider introducing enhanced dog control order powers and the decision to hold a public consultation on the matter?

Dear Freedom of Information,

Thank you for sending the partial information through for my FOIA request about dog mess, littering and graffiti complaints.

You have only sent PART of the information and I am writing to ask for the rest of it, please.

I think you meant to attach documentation to the Request, but this is not there and I do not understand what your response means in response to Q5:

5. Please provide copies of the Minutes of all meetings relevant to the decision to consider introducing enhanced dog control order powers and the decision to hold a public consultation on the matter?
A - SMT Minutes

I have no idea what 'SMT Minutes' are, but they don't seem to be attached to the response you sent, or to anywhere else on this correspondence file. Could you send them through again as an attachment, please?

Please note also that if you wrote anything further after 'SMT Minutes', that section of your letter has also failed to come through.

I look forward to receiving the rest of the information, in a form I can understand.

Yours faithfully

Penny Bunn (Ms)
