1. There are 32 female firefighters employed by Cheshire Fire and Rescue
Service.  This is a mixture of wholetime and retained firefighters.
 
2. How many are in each role on a permanent basis within the service:
 
              a. Firefighter            28
              b. Crew Manager    2
              c. Watch Manager A        0
              d. Watch Manager B        0
              e. Station Manager A      1
              f.  Station Manager B     0
              g, Group Manager   1
 
Where an employee may currently be in higher grade due to temporary
promotion, this has not been included.  The numbers above represent the
employee’s substantive posts only.
