Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please provide the following information for learning disability-supported living providers inside and outside the borough; please detail the lowest, mean and highest hourly rates you pay.

Please categorise into specific service user types if you do this as a borough—e.g. complex transforming care etc.

Please also state if you have a framework or DPS for this type of contract.
Additionally, have you made extra payments to providers for covid related expenses?

Yours faithfully,

Ricky

Dear R Ricky

Request FOI/6883

Further to your request received on 09/01/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered under the provisions of the Freedom of Information
Act. For ease of reference, I will address each of your questions in turn.

Please provide the following information for learning disability-supported
living providers inside and outside the borough; please detail the lowest,
mean and highest hourly rates you pay.

The Council pays providers as a weekly cost for supported living which
will based on a certain amount of hours of care. Therefore we are unable
to provide this down to an hourly rate.

Please categorise into specific service user types if you do this as a
borough—e.g. complex transforming care etc.

The answer to this is provided above.

Please also state if you have a framework or DPS for this type of
contract.

The Council has a DPS for Supported Living and the details of this award
is provided below.

Additionally, have you made extra payments to providers for covid related
expenses? The Council has facilitated government funding such as Infection
Control Funding, Rapid Testing Funding, etc.

Any providers who are eligible for this government funding and agreed to
the funding conditions would have received this. There was no separate
funding from the Council outside the national government schemes.

If you are dissatisfied with the way the Council has handled your request
under the Freedom of Information Act, you may ask for an internal review.
This should be submitted to us within 40 working days of this response.
