Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Foreign and Commonwealth Office's handling of my FOI request 'FCO Funding of the Atlantic Council'.
You have taken far longer than is considered reasonable to carry out the public interest test in relation to the qualified exemption you have engaged.

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
On 22 June you responded by advising:
"I can confirm that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office does hold information falling within the terms of your request."
You advised that the information in scope came under section 27 – international relations and you would need to carry out a PIT in order to release or withhold the information.
Oddly, the response came unsigned from somebody in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department.
On 15 August you responded by totally contradicting yourself and stated that this information is "Not held" by FCO.
Either you are lying now or you lied in your initial response. Consequently I am not convinced that you do not hold any information in scope of my request.
I suggest you start by looking at those documents you advised me on 22 June that you do hold and providing them to me.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Smith
