FCA’s understanding of Disability

Currently waiting for a response from Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,

1.When a FCA knows an applicant has a “medical condition” (as stated on C100) then does the FCA understand under Equality Act 2010 that a mental or physical impairment/condition constitutes “disability” ?

2. Under what policy procedure would Cafcass “not” consider a medical condition a disability ?

Yours faithfully,

Victoria Soeder
