Hi,

HMS Wotton became a training ship for TS Woolwich (SCC)as did HMS Soberton, both were moored at Erith. Wotton until about 1991 and was replaced with Soberton until 1997.

I believe HMS Wotton was used as a fishery protection vessel in the late 1950s. I took a photograph of the ship in Lowestoft Harbour in 1957 0r 1958 when on holiday in the town. The public were allowed to go over the ship and as a 10 or 11 year old boy I thought this was great. Can anyone confirm the use of this ship for fishery protection, please?
