Fatberg as a museum exhibit

It is reported today in the media that the museum would like to exhibit part of a "fatberg" being removed from the sewer system.

Please provide all recorded information held about this proposal.

Dear J Taylor,

 

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the potential acquisition of a piece
of a 'fatberg' by the Museum of London.

 

Please find attached a document containing all the information we
currently hold. This is made up of email exchanges, as at this point the
acquisition has only been discussed as a possibility and there has been no
formal documentation of the process. We have redacted the names and
contact details of non-Museum of London employees, as this is third party
information which is not ours disclose. We have also redacted the email
addresses of Museum employees as it is not our policy to publish them.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of this response to
