F.a.o Pauline Stone dog welfare enforcement officer

The request was refused by Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council.

Dear Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council,
Pauline Stone,
I wish to invite you to attend a public meeting being held with regards to the lack of care, procedures, neglect and lack of control of infection at Leigh dogs and cats home. There is at present
A petition with over 2000 signatures for improved conditions at this home, closure of this home and request to have the dog warden contract be removed from these premises.
It will be in your best interest for yourself or a presentation attend as media coverage will also be attending.
Also the investigation of a puppy farm or animals of certain breeds being shipped in regularly for profit purposes.
There are numerous statements from people with first hand experience with Leigh's dogs home with horrendous stories and proof that the animals are being used, abused and neglected in order of profit.
The meeting is being held on 22nd November at Leigh Labour Club at 7.30pm
Would be grateful for a response as to whether you or a colleague will or not be attending
Lavinia Igglesden.

Yours faithfully,

Lavinia

Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council
