Family Group Conference provision

I would like to make a request under the Freedom of Information act to obtain information regarding the use of Family Group Conferences, or similar meetings within your Children’s Services and would be grateful for the following information please:
Are you holding Family Group Conferences, or similar meetings (if so what are they called) as a standard part of your process?
Do you provide this service of Family Group Conferences or similar meetings internally or use an external provider (if so which provider)?
How many Family Group Conferences or similar meetings do you hold on average per year?

Are you holding Family Group Conferences, or similar meetings (if so what
are they called) as a standard part of your process?
Yes, Family Group Conferences are held for Families open to Childrens
Social Care and in some circumstances Early Help Services.
Do you provide this service of Family Group Conferences or similar
meetings internally or use an external provider (if so which provider)?
Family Group Conferences are facilitated internally by our Family and
Parenting Teams.
How many Family Group Conferences or similar meetings do you hold on
average per year?
On average the Family and Parenting Teams receive around 60 referrals each
year and about 35-40 FGCs are held.
Your privacy: we use your personal information such as name and address so
that we can comply with our legal obligations to respond to FOI requests.
