Vanessa Christine Cole

Dear London Borough of Redbridge,
Many thanks for your reply. Firstly, as you will see from my original request, my name is VANESSA COLE, not Christine.
The Fairlop Waters Masterplan Consultation and Survey took place this year, certainly within the time frame I outlined in the original request. I am not sure what you mean by 'conditions' - this was a consultation with the public about Fairlop Waters and the Council's plans for that specific area.
As to age of the persons taking part in this consultation - both as a face to face exercise, where participants could defer from answering questions on age, race, gender etc, as they could with online answers.
If you wish more clarification, please let me know asap.
Yours sincerely,

Vanessa Cole.

Myrna Davis, Redbridge Borough Council

Dear  Ms Cole,

Freedom of Information Request – Response

Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides two distinct but
related rights of access to information which impose corresponding duties
on public authorities.  These are:

• The duty to inform the applicant whether or not information is held by
the authority and, if so,
• The duty to communicate that information to the applicant.

Thank you for your request received on 10 October 2022 for the following
information:

We wish to know how many consultations and outreach sessions were held for
the public from the 31st May 2022 till 1st October 2022.

In addition; we wish to know

How many of the sessions were held and the dates

How many of the sessions were face to face

How many were online

How many people responded face to face or at the drop in sessions

How many people responded online

What preventable measures were taken against people responding multiple
times either at the drop in sessions or online.

How many consultants were available at each session?

Your request has been considered. Please find below the information
relating to your request.

 1. We wish to know how many consultations and outreach sessions were held
for the public from the 31st May 2022 till 1st October 2022.

A total of ten in person engagement events were held between 31 May and 1
^ October 2022.  Please note, this was an engagement, not a statutory
consultation.

 2. In addition we wish to know How many of the sessions were held and the
dates?

Drop-in sessions were held:

 a. 18 August Wilderness Street, Oakfield Rd, Ilford
 b. 24 August Wanstead Disability Festival, Wanstead
 c. 24 September Wilderness Street, Oakfield Rd, Ilford
 d. 25 September Fairlop Waters
 e. 1 October Spark Lab, Ilford

Outreach sessions were held at Fairlop Waters

 f. 24 August
 g. 25 August
 h. 18 September
 i. 24 September
 j. 25 September

 3. How many of the sessions were face to face?

Ten sessions were held in person.

 4. How many people responded face to face or at the drop- in sessions?
An engagement report is in preparation which will include this
information.

 5. How many people responded online?

An engagement report is in preparation which will include this
information.

 6. What preventable measures were taken against people responding
multiple times either at the drop-in sessions or online?

A choice was made not to limit the number of responses on the online
survey from the same IP address, as this would restrict people from the
same family or from those using a public computer. There were a limited
number of responses from identical IP addresses which seemed to be from
different members of a family. These responses shared different views.

 7. How many consultants were available at each session?

A minimum of 2 consultants were available at each outreach session

However, following a public interest test we are unable to currently
provide you with information related to questions 4 and 5, we have refused
your request based on the following factors of non-disclosure.
