Failure to respond to the annual Household Canvas (2015 & 2016)
Dear Amber Valley Borough Council,
I am writing to ask how many households failed to respond to the Household Canvas Electoral Registration forms over the last two years (2015 & 2016). Out of those who failed to respond, how many were fined and how much was the average fine?
Answering yes or no, if no fines were levied, is this due to the fact that fines collected would be outweighed by the administration cost of the system?
Yours faithfully,
Mr Scott
Thank you for your email.
