Failure to Meet FOI Response Deadlines and Clerical Errors

Peter made this Freedom of Information request to Nottingham City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Nottingham City Council,

Can you please let me know the number of FOI requests which have been received by Nottingham City Council in the last two years, and the number which you have failed to respond to within the statutory timescale.

Additionally, please can you tell me how many of these failures were due to a "clerical error"

Thanks

Yours faithfully,

Peter Davey

Dear Nottingham City Council,

Further to my recent request I note that I have yet to receive an acknowledgement. These are normally sent out the same day. I thought I'd send a reminder as I didn't want you to miss my request.

Thanks

Yours faithfully,

Peter

Dear Information Governance,

You appear to have failed to meet the statutory deadline for responding to my FOI request "Failure to Meet FOI Response Deadlines and Clerical Errors". I'm sure even you would agree that this is somewhat ironic.

Could you please let me know what the problem is.

Yours sincerely,

Peter

Dear Information Governance,

I don't particularly want to request an internal review on this - it's just more work for everyone concerned. It might however be a little courteous to provide a response to my recent email regarding your failure to meet the statutory deadline.

Yours sincerely,

Peter
