Fabrication of Medical Records
Dear General Medical Council,
Please will you confirm whether a GP fabricating a patient's medical records (who may have also tried by dishonest means to prevent the same patient receiving copies of the medical records in question) would by regraded as a criminal offence?
There is a reference on the Internet that states that this to deliberately fabricate a patient's medical history would be regraded as a criminal offence, but I would like clarification on this issue please.
How my GP's have been struck off (or penalized and in what way(s) for the fabrication of medical records within the last year?
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Ms M Jackson
Dear General Medical Council,
I apologize my request should have read how many GP's - not how my GPs.
