Dear R Harrison
Re: Freedom of Information Request
Thank you for your email of 20 September 2017. You made the following requests for
information:
Please provide a list of all organisations and individuals that you have provided
funding, research grants, or educational grants to in the years 2014, 2015, 2016, and
2017 listing the name, date, and amount for each incidence
Cafcass does not provide research grants or educational grants to
organisations or individuals.
Cafcass is publicly funded and is sponsored by the Ministry of Justice. In order
to fulfil its functions Cafcass works with the Ministry of Justice to commission
services from partner organisations that assist families and children. These
services support the work of Cafcass Operational Teams working in private
law cases. The services commissioned are Child Contact Interventions (CCI)
(supervision and intervention in child contact), the Separated Parents
Information Programme (SPIP), and the Domestic Violence Perpetrator
Programme (DVPP). Cafcass also grant funds to many supported contact
centres as part of our commissioned services work. The funding for these
services is also provided by our sponsor, the Ministry of Justice.
Financial information on the funding of commissioned services work can be
found in the Cafcass Annual Report and Accounts on our
website.
Please provide a list of all organisations and individuals that have provided you with
funding, research grants, or educational grants in the years 2014, 2015, 2016, and
2017 listing the name, date, and amount for each incidence
