Explanation of their opposition to the creation of safety Floating Bus Stops near the hospital

We're waiting for Ted Brown to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust,

1) Please inform me of any research (and its conclusions) you have conducted into alleged potential risks from cyclists to your patients, staff or visitors on which you base your legal action to oppose TfL's plans to construct 'Floating Bus Stops' along a planned segregated cycle lane that passes by the hospital.

2) Please inform me of how you have assessed a) dangers to your patients, staff or visitors from cyclists if the Floating Bus Stops are built in comparison to b) the dangers to cyclists from vehicles when those cyclists have to move further out into traffic around buses if the Floating Bus Stops are not built?

3) Please inform me of how many patients you have had in the past two years who have been seriously injured or died as a result of being struck by a) motor vehicles and b) cyclists.

4) Please inform me of what proportion of NHS funds have been allocated to Guys to a) spend on influencing road infrastructure and b) how much Guys c) has spent and d) is prepared to spend on its current opposition to the Floating Bus Stops.

Yours faithfully, Ted Brown.

Dear Sewell Catherine,

Apparently, according to FOI rules, I should have had a reply to my questions by 18th September. Today, 20th, I received notification that the response has been delayed, with no indication of when it will be proffered. As my questions relate to important issues such as how Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust are spending NHS funds and the safety of your patients, road users (including pedestrians, bus passengers, motorists and cyclists) I urge you to respond as quickly, accurately and comprehensively as possible. These are matters in regard to saving people from serious injury or death, and consequently should be addressed with urgency.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely, Theodore Brown.

Yours sincerely,

Ted Brown

Dear Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust's handling of my FOI request 'Explanation of their opposition to the creation of safety Floating Bus Stops near the hospital'.

[ GIVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT HERE ]
Dear Sirs/Mesdames,

Today is the 15th October. By law I should have had answers (not just a standard apology for delay response) by 19th September. I wish to have full responses to my questions on these questions about Guys opposition to the floating bus stops urgently matters, as the planning for the structures is ongoing and further delay may jeopardise the projects. Failing that, I'd like a full and clear explanation for the delay in response to my questions.

Yours, T. Brown.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...
