Experiments involving toxins, chemicals, pollution's coming from your base or from your aircraft in Norton Fitzwarren area Taunton 2017
Dear Ministry of Defence,
This is a request under The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (c.36)
My reason for this request is that I'm becoming concerned by the level of strange 'mist' in the air where I live. There has been an overpowering acrid smell and taste in the area in October and November 2017, with increased aircraft flying overhead during this period. Many people in the area, including many of neighbours have and are continuing to suffer from racking coughs and an increased difficulty to breathe - all at the same time. They are not suffering from a virus. I personally have suffered 2 Asthma attacks and an Anaphylactic shock attack during a 2 week period within this time frame, which has resulted in emergency treatment and follow up consultation at the Lung Function Centre.
I have informed the Environmental agency and taken some photo's of this condensed in places 'mist' in the air that accompanies this acrid taste and smell. It has nothing to do with seasonal moisture and has appeared randomly weather dry or wet, night or day. Always accompanying this acrid taste and smell.
I can recall this happening before on two occasions, again in close proximity to MOD activity. I was hospitalised whilst working at the MOD in Holland 2007. The time before was in 1980 / 1981 when it was later proven the MOD were carrying out testing in the Bournemouth area and many people had been rushed to hospital that weekend with the same symptoms. The same symptoms I am suffering again with now.
When I attended the lung function the other day, the department divulged that there had been a noticeable and unusual increase in the onset chest complaints over this last month or so.
Please can you inform me of any activity you have been carrying out involving experiments of toxins, chemicals, pollution's either on the local base in Norton Fitzwarren or emitted from/by MOD aircraft in 2017. Specifically during October / November 2017, when my own health has suffered considerably.
Please find attached a response to your Freedom of Information request
