Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Due to an undercover documentary it has been brought to my attention that a Mr John Sweeney has abused either his personal expenses account or a general BBC expenses account.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I am requesting a full breakdown of all Mr Sweeneys expenses, not just the amount, a full breakdown, when, where, how much etc.

I'm also guessing the "taxi" he ordered would also be on expenses? Mr Sweeney had his dog with him, is it customary to have your pet present? if so any expenses going towards the dog?

I will require a minimum of 12-24 months of data. Mr Sweeney is the main person of interest, but while you are looking up his expenses, I will require the expenses data of his entire team.

This could be the biggest expenses scandal to break since the one that hit parliament all those years ago, as a public figure you are legally obliged to give out theses details.

Yours faithfully,

chris greenwood
