Dear Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust,

I would like to request the following information under the FOIA.

1) Can you please send me a copy of your reply to an FOI request about 3 years worth of bonuses and expenses for staff/ceo and executive directors, that was sent around the end of November 2009 to NHS Trusts from Mr Lotinga.

2) Do you have a Gifts, Hospitality and Sponsorship Policy or similar which reflects the NHS Guidance “COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP – ETHICAL STANDARDS FOR THE NHS, Nov 2000” and can you please email me a copy.

3) Can you send me a copy of your register for 2008/9 showing details of Gifts, Hospitality and Sponsorship, excluding names of individuals if you wish, but including company names. If you decide to withhold company names, please send me a copy of your register without company names.

4) Are your Consultants required to complete a Probity section within their annual appraisal?

Q1. Please see attached the response sent to Mr Lotinga on 11th December
2009.

Q2. Please see attached the Trusts Marketing Communications, Commercial
Sponsorship and Advertising Policy and Standards for Business Conduct
which includes information relating to gifts.

In relation to commercial sponsorship and advertising:

The Trust maintains a record of requests for commercial sponsorship or
advertising from discretionary advertisers, and the response given (as
stated in paragraph 4.3 within the attached policy), however no records
have been made in the register since the Marketing Communications,
Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising Policy was approved in January
2009. A register was not maintained prior to this date.

The Trust maintains a record of offers of commercial sponsorship and
advertising opportunities which may be used to support Trust activities
(as stated in paragraph 4.10 within the attached). There are currently
no records in the register.

In relation to gifts and hospitality please see attached.
