In response to your request for information regarding “…money you [NDA] have spent with Pinsent Mason and associated counsel costs...,” we can confirm that based on our accounts we, NDA, have paid £74,697.60 to date to Pinsent Masons LLP in respect of all activities directly and indirectly associated with defending the case you brought against us. This figure includes NDA’s barrister fees (Rachael Levene) and disbursements and relates to invoices issued before 15 July 2021.

In response to your request to “confirm if there are any other bills outstanding,” NDA can confirm that there are bills issued to us by Pinsent Masons from 15 July onwards which have not yet been reviewed by NDA through its finance checking and control processes. We estimate however that once this review is complete and these outstanding bills paid, NDA will have spent approx. £195,000 (inclusive of Counsel fees and disbursements) during the last 3 years defending the claim you brought against NDA.
