Exit Interviews

Dear Abbey Multi Academy Trust,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am writing to request information regarding the use and outcomes of staff exit interviews conducted within your trust and its academies for the past three academic years.

Specifically, I would be grateful if you could provide the following-
Exit Interview Process:
Does the trust routinely conduct exit interviews for staff who resign, retire, or leave for other reasons?

Are these interviews conducted in person, virtually, or via a written form?

Are exit interviews coordinated centrally by the trust, or are they managed individually by each academy?

Documentation:
Please provide a copy of the standard exit interview template(s) or question set(s) currently in use. If available, please supply this in PDF format.

Findings and Outcomes:
Please provide a summary of the most common themes or issues raised in exit interviews during the requested period (e.g., workload, leadership, pay, workplace culture).

Have any formal actions, reviews, or policy changes been implemented as a result of exit interview feedback? If so, please provide brief details.

Please acknowledge receipt of this request and provide a full response within 20 working days, in line with the statutory timeframe set out under the Freedom of Information Act.
