Dear Bolsover District Council,

I am writing to request the following information please :

1. How many organisations have been assessed as exempt accommodation providers during the years 2018-19 and 2019-20? what organisation type were they? e.g Ltd, CIC, RP, Charity, RSL etc..
2. How many days did the exempt housing assessment process take from application to completion for non- registered providers for each year 18-19 and 19-20
3. What percentage of current exempt housing providers are non-RP/RSL's and how many are RP/RSL's?
4. What is the highest and lowest combined eligible Rents and service charge rates charged by non RP/RSL's for single adults temp accommodation for each organisation type ?e.g Ltd, CIC, RP, Charity, RSL etc..

Your request for information has been considered and, to the best of our
knowledge, the information we hold which relates to your request is as
follows:
 

 1. How many organisations have been assessed as exempt accommodation
providers during the years 2018-19 and 2019-20? what organisation type
were they? e.g Ltd, CIC, RP, Charity, RSL etc..

 
In 2018/19, we assessed claims as exempt accommodation from 7 Registered
Social Landlords and 4 Registered Charities.
In 2019/20, we assessed claims as exempt accommodation from 8 Registered
Social Landlords and 4 Registered Charities.
 
 
 

 2. How many days did the exempt housing assessment process take from
application to completion for non- registered providers for each year
18-19 and 19-20

 
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, this acts as a
Refusal Notice (Section 12). The information requested is not held in the
form specified and would need to be extracted. This would exceed the
‘appropriate limit’ of £450 as stated in the Freedom of Information (Fees
and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004. 
To provide this information would require manual identification and access
of all claims. This would take in excess of 18 hours to locate/retrieve
and compile.
 
 

 3. What percentage of current exempt housing providers are non-RP/RSL's
and how many are RP/RSL's?

 
33% Registered Charities
66% Registered Social Landlords
 
4. What is the highest and lowest combined eligible Rents and service
charge rates charged by non RP/RSL's for single adults temp accommodation
for each organisation type ?e.g Ltd, CIC, RP, Charity, RSL etc..
 
No information held as no claims currently in payment for temporary
accommodation
