Further to your request received on 24/08/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

 

Specifically, you have requested the following information:

According to Croydon Council's own, official registers of interest, on
20th July 2023, the Executive Mayor, Jason Perry, was entertained to a
dinner with the Terrapin Group.

Please provide:

1, The names of all other attendees at this dinner.

3, a list of all Croydon and council business or property that was
discussed at this dinner.

Our response: 

1.The event was hosted by Terrapin with the Executive Mayor Jason Perry in
attendance as a guest speaker. The Assistant Chief Executive Elaine
Jackson attended as the Corporate Director of Sustainable Communities,
Regeneration and Economic Recovery had to step down last minute.

As this was not a council led meeting and guests in attendance were not
the Councils guests, they were invited by Terrapin Group, the personal
details of other attendees are defined as personal data under the General
Data Protection Regulations and are therefore exempt from publication.

3. The Mayors Business plan and aims to revitalise the borough to bring
back the pride, individual properties were not discussed during the
meeting
