Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,

I would like to know if Newcastle upon Tyne City Council (NCC) are responsible for employing and selecting executive headteachers as defined by but the government on the national college for teaching.
If Newcastle upon Tyne city council is responsible for this I would like to know how many executive headteachers are employed within the local authority.
Finally I would like to know the average salary of any executive headteachers employed within in Newcastle upon Tyne local education authority.
