Examples of RSPCA access to PNC under the SLA

The request was successful.

Dear The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland,

I wish to see some examples of information disclosed to the RSPCA under the SLA you have with them.

Specifically I wish to see details of the first ten disclosures to the RSPCA of information from the PNC. Obviously this will need to be redacted to remove specific personal information and any specific information likely to prejudice an ongoing case. But I wish to know the detailed nature of the kind data in practice sent to the RSPCA. For information that is redacted please ensure that the description of the information (e.g. "previous address", "occupation") remains. Please disclose where possible the actual emails (suitably redacted) to and from the RSPCA in relation to these ten cases.

Yours faithfully,

Ken Tindell

The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Dear The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland,

Thank you for your response. But there is information missing: only the messages from the RSPCA are included: the responses to those messages sent to the RSPCA are missing. Please can you disclose the responses too (using the same approach to redaction where necessary).

Yours faithfully,

Ken Tindell

Good afternoon Mr Tindell

Thank you for your email. I have looked at our response, and I can confirm that I have included all information held by ACPO. We hold no further information captured by your request.

There are no responses held which are from the ACRO NPA Mailbox to messages from the RSPCA advising us of court dates etc, and this may be to which you are referring. I am of the opinion that no such messages would have been responded to as this would prove an unnecessary administrational process.

With very kind regards

Sherry
