Ex-police officers employed in the service

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

Dear Scottish Ambulance Service Board,

I would be grateful if you would provide the following information, which I request under the Freedom of Information Act.

How many staff were recruited to the Glasgow Patient Transport Service under the recruitment process carried out in summer 2010?

How many of the personnel recruited during that process are retired or otherwise former Police officers?

Yours faithfully,

William W. McIlroy

Dear Scottish Ambulance Service Board,

I note with regret that my request for information has neither been acknowledged nor answered.

I would be very much obliged if you would now indicate your position on this matter as the statutory timescale for reply has now expired.

In the circumstances I would request that you respond as a matter of urgency.

Yours faithfully,

William Mcilroy

Dear Scottish Ambulance Service Board,

I am very concerned that you have failed to respond to my FOI request.

In the circumstances, I must now ask you to internally review why my request has yet to even be acknowledged.

Your obligations in law remain unmet and I would therefore you give immediate attention to this matter, failing which I will be left with no option but to refer to the Commissioner.

Yours faithfully,

William Mcilroy

Dear Scottish Ambulance Service Board,

I note with deep regret that you have failed to respond to my FOIA request in any form whatsoever.

I must now insist that you comply with the terms of the Act and either

1. Provide the information requested, or
2. Explain why there has been a delay and give me a
timescale within which you fully intend to respond
to my request, or
3. Refuse my request, giving reasons why.

If you do not reply within 14 days of the date of this letter, you leave me with no alternative but to seek the assistance of the Information Commissioner.

I look forward to hearing from you as a matter of urgency.

Yours faithfully,

William Mcilroy
