Evidence of the people of Margate wanting a Town Council

Matthew Brown made this Freedom of Information request to Thanet District Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Thanet District Council,

According to the minutes of the Boundary and Electoral Arrangements Working Party dated Wednesday, 22nd October, 2014 7.00 pm there is written advice from Peter Reilly, TDC Litigation Solicitor which apparently indicates that the consultation results had shown there was "no evidence of the people of Margate wanting a Town Council".

1. Please make this written advice available

2. Please supply the figures for responses to the consultation

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Brown

Dear Thanet District Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Thanet District Council's handling of my FOI request 'Evidence of the people of Margate wanting a Town Council'.

Despite your prompt reply your claim to be sharing information appears to be bogus as the link you provide reaches a page that says: "Access denied. Page does not exist." The FOI request has, therefore, not been answered.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Brown
