Dear Scottish Government,

I rightfully request access to the research findings and scientific evidence used to support the decision not to allow children from P-4 upwards to attend Education facilities.

In the most recent letter sent to parents by Scot gov you explicitly mention that your rationale underpinning this decision was in fact based on the scientific evidence and findings that children younger do not pass the virus.

Please show me the findings of such scientific evidence and research.

May I also be explicitly shown the age rage for these discoveries.

Yours faithfully,

Emma

Dear Scottish Government,

Thank you for your vague reply.
I explicitly asked you for the scientific evidence the first minister used to make this decision. The letter I received along with many other parents like myself from the Scottish government stated that, the Decision to only allow a certain age group to return to school was based on “scientific evidence”..... I again ask to see a copy of this scientific evidence used to make decisions on my children’s lives.

Secondly you have now stated that there was growing cases, primarily with “new variant” can you advise the exact number of “new variant” cases in Lanarkshire from January 1st 2021 until March 15th 2021, and also I request the information to be shared regarding the type of test used to determine every one of the reported cases was “new variant”

Kind regards

Emma Findlay

Yours faithfully,

Emma
