Events staffing budget - the Flower Show and other events

The request was partially successful.

Dear Chorley Borough Council,

Thank you for your help in identifying the £59,465 cost to taxpayers of the flower show last year.

From a previous enquiry you let me know that the flower show is now within an overall events budget of £159,000. From that information the flower show costs therefore took a little over 37.4% of that budget.

Can you please confirm

(a) that the cost of the flower show you provided excludes staff costs ?
(b) what are the current staffing costs directly associated with the delivering of projects in the events budget ?
(c) other than the 37.4% share of budget above, what % staff time was attributable to delivering the flower show?

Yours faithfully,

Peter Malpas
