EU refer

We're waiting for Susie Nicodemi to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Winchester City Council,

Can you please supply, under the Freedom of Information Act, a breakdown of all EU funded projects that have occurred within the Winchester area from 2000 to 2016, together with details of the overall cost of each project as well as the amount of EU funding each project received.

Can you further supply details of any projects that are being carried out, or are planned to take place, which are being funded by the EU or where an application has been made for funding, irrespective of whether the funds will be granted in view of the EU referendum. Could you provide me information of other bodies/institutions in the Winchester area that would hold this data?

Yours faithfully,

Susie Nicodemi

Winchester City Council

Dear Ms Nicodemi

Thank you for your enquiry.  Winchester City Council is not running any
projects which have been funded by the European Regional Development Fund,
European Social Fund Structural Funding or Youth Employment Initiative for
2014-20.

Winchester City Council has received European Agricultural Funding for
Rural Development funding for the following projects:

o 2011/12 - Hockley Viaduct £50,000.00
o 2010/11 - Active Lifestyles £12,000.00
o 2012/13 - Rural Parish Celebrations £2,500.00

Between 2009 and current date, Winchester City Council has hosted the
Fieldfare LEADER programme [1]www.Fieldfareleader.org.uk which delivers
outputs using the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
and distributes funding on behalf of Defra to local projects. Details of
those projects can be obtained from Defra.

You will need to contact the relevant Government Agencies (Managing
Authorities) for more information about the other EU funding that has been
provided within the Winchester district.

We currently have two bids to the Enterprise  M3 Local Enterprise
Partnership for funding via the Government’s Local Growth Fund for grants
totalling £7.7m to support the Station Approach regeneration scheme –
specifically for design costs, archaeological study and public realm
improvements.
