EU Academic Staff

The request was successful.

Dear Durham University FOI Team,

Some time ago, I wrote to you about the difficulties of recruiting academic staff from the EU in the current political climate. I am concerned, but hopeful that Durham has been able to continue to recruit EU staff in significant numbers.

I was wondering if you would be able to tell me:

1) How many new EU academic staff the university has been able to recruit over the last year
2) How many EU academic staff have left the university over the same time period
3) The overall number of EU academic staff currently working at Durham (this one is less important)

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Matthew Taylor
