Ethnicity of staff in primary school education

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for Education,

I would like to know the ethnicity of staff working in different roles within state primary schools in London. Ideally I would like this data divided into the smallest organisational units you have, for example:

- Class teachers
- School Meals Supervisory Assistants
- Teaching assistants
- Special Needs Assistants
- Senior management

I would prefer to receive this information electronically as data set in Excel or csv.

If part of this request can be answered sooner than others, please send that information first.

If you would like any clarification then please email me. Under your section 16 duty to provide advice and assistance I would expect you to contact me if this request seems unmanageable, so we can negotiate how best to proceed. If you provide me with a direct telephone number then I can contact you.

I would be grateful if you could confirm your receipt of this request in writing, and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Yours faithfully,

Alix Hattenstone
