Dear Mr Brindley

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request received on 20 March 2012. I have provided some part information below, but would advise that I am still in the process of confirming whether the Trust holds any pertinent monitoring data that we can forward on to you. I will endeavour to forward any additional information on to you by 1 May 2012

I apologise for the lack of a full response to your request at this time.

Under FOI legislation, could you please provide me with all ethnic
monitoring data you have on Gypsies and Travellers health and well
being, service use and staff in your PCT?

Could you also provide information detailing whether Gypsies and
Travellers are monitored as standard policy in the PCT?

The Ethnic Monitoring and Language Proforma (attached) has been in operation for some time. How much is completed by the G & T communities is unknown. It is hoped to roll out the wider equalities data collection form to support future planning. We are mindful that there is a lack of access to this information although a lot gets collected at different points when patients access services.
