.Freedom of Information, Dorset Police

Dear Ms Green,

I write in connection with your Freedom of Information request to Dorset Police.

The information you are seeking is routinely published by the Home Office as part of their annual data requirements from police forces. While not up to date as of today, the following document does provide you with a comprehensive, detailed picture of the topic you are seeking. Please note that the annual data requirement has not yet been completed for 2019 and as such we cannot supply you with a more current version of it; the up to date version will be available in the coming months.

The document in question is available at the following URL:

Under this Excel spreadsheet:

'Police Workforce, England and Wales, 31 March 2018: data tables'

And within the following tabs:

H1 - Police officers, by police force area, as at 31 March 2018
D1 - Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) officers, by police force area, rank and gender, as at 31 March 2018
D2 - Police officers, by police force area, ethnicity and gender, as at 31 March 2018

Can I please ask you to consult with the aforementioned document and let us know if you still require us to progress your request? I will put this request on hold until 12/03/2019 after which point we will assume this request has been answered and it will be subsequently closed.

Yours sincerely,
