Dear Chief Medical Officer of the Scottish Administration,

The minutes of a Private meeting of the Boarders NHS board on 5 November 2009 state that the board discussed a paper, presented by Dr Ross Cameron on "the ethical support for clinical triage in ITU"

I note that the minutes also state that: "The BOARD asked that Dr Cameron send the approved paper to the CMO advising that it had been approved by the Board and seeking CMO advice on whether it should be consulted on with the CLO."

Please can you provide copies of:
a) all correspondence to and from the CMO relating to "the ethical support for clinical triage in ITU" from October 2009 until the present date
b) any other documentation held concerning this paper.
