Estimates of near surface global mean annual temperature since 1959 produce by the current Hadley Centre model

The request was refused by Meteorological Office.

Dear Meteorological Office,
I have asked repeatedly for global mean annual temperatures since 1959 produced by the latest Hadley Centre Model. I want the whole record without omissions and as figures not as a graph. You have either told me about other data or not replied at all. This is, as I have pointed out, vital information - one might say the crux - of the global warming case. The research is funded from the public purse to which I contribute in my small way. There can be no need to extract the data since it is sent to IPCC. I can think of no valid reason for withholding this information.

Yours faithfully,
Philip Symmons

Dear FOImanager,
The Met Office has admitted on 17 April that by law they should respond by 14 April. (How on 17, April 14 April is still in the future escapes me but let that pass). It is now 25 April. Covid-19 can excuse much but I made the first, it seems to me, quite reasonable request in December last. The Met Office say that they sent an email on 26 Feb. As far as I know i received no email then as I have told the Met Office. I cannot swear that I did not erase a message from my junk mail but I think that unlikely. But even so why not resend that email?#
This is information that it seems to me, should be published as a matter of course in parallel withn the CRU/Had estimate from observations.

Yours sincerely,

Philip Symmons
