What forms of contract do you typically utilise for these contracts such
as NEC3, SBCC Design and Build etc?

Aberdeenshire Council use SBCC forms with quantities contracts, however we
do also use SBCC D&B forms.  The new Hard FM contracts uses the NEC3
contract form and this will be used on minor projects.

What different methods of procurement do you utilise to build new schools
and nurseries (including school and nursery extensions).

Larger projects (where SFT funding not secured) are procured through the
Main Contractor Works Framework. Extensions and other ‘minor’ projects are
procured through the PCS system.

Please contact me as the officer responsible for responding to your
request if you have any further queries.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with this response, please refer
to the further information attached.

Yours faithfully
