Estates
Dear Croydon Borough Council,
After submitting a previous request for information on the location of housing estates in Croydon which was dealt with by James Derby / Gabriel Macgregor
(see here:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/lo...)
I have since spoken to a Croydon resident who said the list provided by the Croydon was missing a number of estates. The list provided by the council had six estates:
• Fieldway
• Monks Hill
• Northborough Road
• Shrublands
• Tollers
• Handcroft Road
I have since been informed of a further 25 from a resident, those are as follows:
• Academy Gardens
• Averil Grove / Hollman Gardens
• Auckland Rise
• Beluah Grove / Windmill Road
• Cantley Gardens
• College Green
• Eastney Road
• Ely Road / Wisbech Road
• Forestdale
• Garnet Road
• Gordon Crescent
• Homstead Way area
• Johnson Road / Whitehorse Road area
• Longheath Gardens
• Marston Way
• Menlo Gardens & Priory Crescent
• Orchard Way / Regency Walk area
• Penge Road / Regina Road
• Ridge Langley
• Ruskin Road
• Sherbourne Way
• Stockbury Road
• The Woodlands
• Turnpike Link
• Walton Green area
They said the names may not be official but the locations are correct. Could you please confirm for me the accuracy of this list of estates (which include council, former council and possibly registered social landlord estates) and let me know if any are incorrect and where possible what the official names of these estates are.
Yours faithfully,
Mr I Agar
