John Gallacher made this Freedom of Information request to Scottish Government

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Scottish Government,

Under FOISA please provide me with all recorded information relating to the audit information that SFC should have submitted to yourselves for retrospective drawdown of ESF funding.

To be clear what actual information did the colleges have to provide SFC, in order to submit their claims successfully?

Yours faithfully,

John Gallacher

Dear Scottish Government,

Thank you for your response, I would be grateful if you could provide the information you send me in an intelligible format for my understanding,

I have a protected characteristic under the equalities act, I am an elderly gentleman with dyslexia and a reasonable adjustment for this would be for your assistance in collating the information I required in a format that is easily understood my myself.

I trust that you appreciate that elderly and vulnerable members of society have the same rights to information, and that information should be produced to manner that they can understand, there is a concept of plain English without diluting the substance of the information requested. Many members of the public are not through no fault of their own informed enough about their rights, and your administration does not hold a flawless record in operating in the spirit of FOISA.

Yours faithfully,

John Gallacher
