ESA/PIP/DLA Assessment Centres
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I am writing to request the following information:
1. The current number of Atos assessment centres. Are you able to supply a list of towns/cities of where they are located?
2. The current number of Capita assessment centres. Are you able to supply a list of towns/cities of where they are located?
3. What changes in the number of assessment centres do you anticipate in view of the termination of the Atos contract, ie. will you be looking at a similar number of centres albeit under a new service provider?
4. What are the current requirements should a claimant wish to have their assessment recorded and the provider has no equipment to do this. Can a claimant self-record and do you require a copy of this recording. If so would this be required at time of assessment or could this be supplied to you or the provider afterwards?
Yours faithfully,
Sarah Tomkins
