ESA65B outcome letter to Doctors and patient opt-in to do so

Department for Work and Pensions did not have the information requested.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

ICO opinion is your ESA1, UC50 and ESA50 forms are not in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) since 25 May 2018 and are still not today.

Does this mean you are no longer sending Doctors the ESA65B letters until you have obtained patient consent to show they opt-in to send their work capability assessment outcome personal data to their Doctor?

Yours faithfully,

Joe

DWP has published a new UC50 form

New 2021 UC50 Work Capability Assessment form, that lets you easily stop the DWP telling your GP to stop issuing ‘Fit-Notes’
This follows on from the same changes being made for the ESA1 claimant form and the ESA WCA form.
