Error with software used to extract business rate information
Dear Stockton on Tees Council,
The council had a problem which meant that due to an error with the specialist
computer software that is used to extract business rates information, lists were incomplete. This was under investigation to be rectified. Has this now been fixed?
If so please can you provide a complete:
(a) List all non-domestic properties and their addresses.
(b) The names of the Rate payers referred to above for each property (excluding all the personal information).
(c) The billing authority reference number for each property (Not the account number) OR where possible, the UARN (Unique Authority Reference Number)
(d) The date the rate payer became liable for the bill
(e) Details of what reliefs, if any, the rate payer receives (Mandatory, Discretionary, Exempt)
(f) The rateable value for 2010 and where possible the draft 2017 rateable value
Can you also please make sure this information is as up-to-date as possible at the time of receiving the request

Column K-Code beginning MAND indicates rural mandatory relief is currently
awarded, code CHARIT indicates charity mandatory relief is currently
awarded, Code CASC indicates community amateur sports club mandatory
relief is current awarded
Column L- Code beginning DIS or TRIS indicates discretionary relief is
currently awarded, code beginning ENT indicates enterprise zone relief is
currently awarded, code beginning SHST indicates Stockton High Street
scheme relief is currently awarded, Code LOCAL indicates revaluation
relief is currently awarded
Column M- indicates Pub Relief is awarded
Column N- YES indicates SBRR is currently awarded or the property is under
the threshold and has its business rates calculated using the SBRR
multiplier
Column O- indicates an exemption is awarded and the reason
