Dear Sally

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Before I consider your request I wanted to ensure that you are aware that Scottish Water Business Stream Limited, trading as Business Stream, is not a Council or Local Authority. We are a commercial organisation owned by Scottish Water but due to obligations under our regulatory licences operate independently from our parent company.

As your request appears to be focused on Councils and now knowing that we are a commercial organisation, do you still require the questions below to be answered?

I will put your request on hold for the time being but please let me know if our ownership and commercial structure is still valid for your request.

Regards

Trevor Nelson
