Dear Mr Cornet

Thank you for your request for information dated 28 June 2016, regarding
the  ERP / Finance system for the London Fire Brigade (LFB).

My colleague James Sivell has passed this request onto me and I am
responding on his behalf.  I can confirm that  we hold the information you
have requested and this is set out below.  For your convenience, I have
responded to your points in turn.  Please note, we have taken 'council' to
mean  the 'London Fire Brigade'.

1.What ERP (Enterprise Resource Management) or Finance system is currently
used at the council?

The LFB us the Infor Masterpiece FM system.

2.When does your contract expire?

This is  an ongoing annual maintenance and support contract – there is no
expiry date.

3.Do you have any planned upgrades of the software? If so, when?

Yes, this is planned for the 3^rd and 4^th quarters of the current
financial year.

4.Are you planning to go to market for a different ERP/ Finance system? If
so, when?

There are no plans to do this currently.

5.How many users / licenses of the system do you have at the council?

There are 50 concurrent users, we have a perpetual licence.

6.Who is the person responsible for your ERP / Finance system? Please
provide full name, title and contact information if possible.

Adrian Bloomfield, Head of Finance is responsible for the ERP/Finance
system at the LFB.

7. Do you have a particular business charter in place that encourages your
supplier to pay the rest of their supply chain early?

We do not have a business charter to encourage prompt payment.

We do however,  have a number of mechanisms that we use to encourage our
major strategic contractors to pay promptly.   A selection of these are
below:

·         We make it a requirement that payment data is provided (usually
quarterly). This is monitored through the contractor’s Responsible
Procurement Action Plan and if there are any issues these will be
discussed at our contract management meetings.

·         We encourage improvement and monitor where performance is poor;
failure to follow up on agreed actions at contract management meetings can
lead to a KPI being used against them.

·         In some cases potential contractors make commitments as part of
their tender returns.

·         Whilst voluntary, we encourage sign-up to the [1]Prompt Payment
Code (PPC), which sets standards for payment practices and best practice
and is administered by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
Compliance with the principles of the Code is monitored and enforced by
the Prompt Payment Code Compliance Board.

I hope you find this information provided useful. If you have any further
questions please don’t hesitate to contact me quoting the above reference
number on all correspondence.

Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. If you are dissatisfied by this response you can request an internal
review by writing to the Head of Information Management and Performance at
