Dear NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board,
How do children of Compulsory school age in your area access vaccinations if the following apply:
a) They are not in school on the day vaccinations are occurring
b) The child receives their Education through EOTIS (s61 Children and Families Act)
c) The child is receiving education through a multitude of alternative provision
d) The Child is electively home educated.
How do children of Compulsory School age in your area access Speech and language therapists when:
a) They are enrolled and regularly attend school
b) The child receives their Education through EOTIS (s61 Children and Families Act)
c) The child is receiving education through a multitude of alternative provision
d) The Child is electively home educated.
How do children of Compulsory School age in your area access Occupational therapists when:
a) They are enrolled and regularly attend school
b) The child receives their Education through EOTIS (s61 Children and Families Act)

What sharing protocols are in place between yourselves and Local authorities in relation to children of Compulsory school age.

I am writing to request clarification of your request under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 to NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board on
2^nd September 2024.
In your last question, you wrote the following:
What sharing protocols are in place between yourselves and Local
authorities in relation to children of Compulsory school age.
More information on the specific sharing protocols you are referring to
are required.
Please be aware, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, when
clarification is requested your request is put on hold and when we receive
a response the 20 working day time limit is restarted. If clarification is
not received within 1 month, your request will be considered cancelled.
Once clarification is received you will be provided with a new deadline.

Further to your request under the Freedom Of Information Act, received on
2nd September 2024, please find NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care
Board’s response attached.
If you are dissatisfied with the response you have received, you have the
right to request a review of our decision or make a complaint about how
your request has been handled. Your request should be made within 40
working days of receipt of this letter, and we will reply within 20
working days of receipt. Any such request received after 40 working days
will only be considered at the discretion of the organisation.
