Information Act (FOIA) 2000. I am pleased to provide our response below:

 

Who is your current Community Equipment Service provider? KCC’s current
provider is Nottingham Rehab Ltd (T/A NRS Healthcare)

 

Do you have a joint contract with one or more local Clinical Commissioning
Groups? Yes, in Kent we have in place an integrated service with seven of
the eight CCGs in Kent (excludes Medway).

 

If yes please provide the names of the CCG or CCGs that are part of the
joint arrangement: Thanet, DGS (Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley), Swale,
South Kent Coast, West Kent, Canterbury and Ashford.

 

If yes please provide the name of the host partner: NHS

 

What is the population covered by your community equipment service? Kent’s
population currently sits at 1,5000,900 *at midyear 2016.

 

Does the service cover the provision of equipment to under 18s as well as
people over 18? Yes both under and over 18’s are included within the
service.

 

If you have an external provider please answer the additional questions
below:

 

When did you last tender the contract? It went out to tender in March 2015
and was awarded in June 2015.

 

What date did your current contract start? The current contract started on
30^th November 2015

 

Please provide the financial value of the contract in the first 12 months
of the current contract (value and period covered)? The financial value
for the first 12 months was £5,245,639. (inclusive of 50% Joint budget
spend) 30/11/15 – 29/11/16 (This does not include any Health financial
