Dear Wendy Lewis,
REF: Freedom of Information Request
We write following your email received to our Reception inbox, yesterday,
[26.6.24] chasing a response to a FOI Request you made to the School via
the website “whatdotheyknow.com”.  Having located the original request on
the website, we note that this request was made on the [26.5.24]. As the
School was closed for the May Half Term, at the time your request was
made, the response you received back on the website, from the School, was
our Safeguarding Out of Office email.

I have looked into this matter, and it would seem that your original
request had not been forwarded to Data Protection at the Ted Wragg Trust
(of which, QE is a part of) and unfortunately this request has not been
actioned. For the sake of completeness, as the Trust use an external Data
Protection Provider, Judicium Consulting Limited, we also checked whether
this request had been received by them directly, which it had not.
However, despite that, your request dated [26.5.24] is a clear request for
information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and should have been
processed and actioned accordingly. We apologise for our oversight in this
matter.

We would therefore respectfully ask that you allow us the usual time
allowed for FOI Replies of 20 school days, starting from the date of your
second email dated [26.6.24], taking us to [5.9.24] to respond to this
request. We do appreciate that your original request was made on the
[26.5.24] and we will therefore endeavour to respond to you as soon as
possible.
Kind regards,
Clare
