Equality Impact assessment
Dear Her Majesty's Treasury,
According to your page, https://www.gov.uk/government/organisati..., you are committed to "fairness and, in particular, the promotion of equality of opportunity for all". "Taking equality considerations into account in [your] work is an important and integral part of [your] approach as [...] a policy-maker.
I request to see your impact assessment made as you considered how best to help, or to exclude from help the Directors of Limited Companies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If your decision has had a detrimental impact on this group, even if unintended, the whole scheme comes under challenge on discrimination fronts and therefore I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
M T Schellhorn
